  Mad Hatter Clothiers   While Julianna Hosmer has been designing for more than 30 years with a special focus in costuming, she has branched out to ready-to-wear in the last few. She owns   Mad Hatter Clothiers  —a private custom clothing studio in West Asheville. She is thrilled to be working with such an incredible group of artists and honored to be part of helping an organization that has helped her many times in the past.

  Edith Covarrubias     Edith Covarrubias   is a versatile artist. In addition to developing a pictorial project, she also crafts using condoms and wood, ceramics, paper, or fabric. A creative, her spirit is delivered when she can use her skills to benefit groups of people.

  Gypsy Rose Creations   Rosanne Capone is a self-taught designer and seamstress with more than 20 years experience who started   Gypsy Rose Creations   over ten years ago. Being a true Aquarian who wears many creative hats, she has also worked as a chef for the past five years. This gives her the freedom to donate her time to great community causes like Planned Parenthood. This will be her sixth year enthusiastically creating a design for Planned Parenthood with her good friend and model, Camille Reid.

Rosanne Capone is a self-taught designer and seamstress with more than 20 years experience who started Gypsy Rose Creations over ten years ago. Being a true Aquarian who wears many creative hats, she has also worked as a chef for the past five years. Her designs are inspired by retro-vintage cuts and modern street style. The dress she created for this event was inspired by fashion couture from the 1940s, as well as trends found from the 2017/2018 runway. This will be her second time creating a look for Condom Couture, and she is honored to be part of such an incredible event, supporting Planned Parenthood and women empowerment.

Her best designs are executed with unconventional materials—everything from paper to aluminum cans (to condoms!). Today, she crafts clothing and accessories from vintage fabrics and leather remnants. Her label,   sarajohnsondesign  , concentrates on custom garments for women who want something new and different. Her designs have been described as “classic with a bohemian edge” and “the new bohemian Lilly Pulitzer." When she isn’t working, you can find Sara coaching, practicing ballet, and enjoying time with her husband, her two daughters, and her beloved dog, Rosie. Sara is excited to be a first-time designer for Condom Couture Asheville.

She now works as a local costume shop manager/theatrical costume designer, and in her free time she enjoys creating wearable art for fashion shows. This is her second year participating in Condom Couture, and she is happy to be supporting Planned Parenthood and all the work they do for the WNC community. She now works as a local costume shop manager/theatrical costume designer, and in her free time she enjoys creating wearable art for fashion shows. This is her second year participating in Condom Couture, and she is happy to be supporting Planned Parenthood and all the work they do for the WNC community. She also takes ordinary clothing, ties, linens, and leftover fabric to create clothes for everyday and special occasions.

  Kayren Reynolds McKnight    Kayren Reynolds McKnight  is part of an amazing team of designers that works together to create a lot of community theatre. Most recently, she designed costumes for A Christmas Carol for Montford Park Players and costumes and set for Uranium 235 at The Magnetic Theatre. Most recently, she designed costumes for A Christmas Carol for Montford Park Players and costumes and set for Uranium 235 at The Magnetic Theatre. Her work can currently be seen at HART Theatre in Sense and Sensibility. Her work will be featured at The Magnetic Theatre's Full Tilt Boogie at the Big Bang Diner, opening June 24.

  MODEntropy   Anna Grace is an Asheville Native, and she learned to sew when she was 8 years old, and since then she has been working non-stop to achieve her goals of building her fashion empire emphasizing sustainability and positive body image. At the age of 14 she had her first four page spread in Sophie Magazine for fashion she designed and created. At 15 She began attending University of North Carolina School for the Arts as a Visual Arts major studying design, sculpture, and drawing. At 17 she raised money through a gofundme campaign to study Fashion Design Process at Parsons Paris, and she Currently Studies at Parsons in New York City on full scholarship. She has worked as a professional henna tattoo artist for eight years, and she began working at upscale boutique, Serenity + Scott Apothecary when she was 14 years old and continued working there as a Makeup Artist for 5 years. She is living her dream in the East Village, Manhattan, and is assiduously focusing on building her brand   MODEntropy  .

Both Stephanie and Rachel are passionate about Planned Parenthood, safe sex and safe sexual encounters, and advocating for women. It was a no-brainer for both to codesign and cocreate for Condom Couture.
