Originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Michelle Lupia became interested in upcycling and design in 1995. After the birth of her daughter in 2000, she created unique baby and toddler clothes and designed costumes for festival goers. Michelle is passionate about the environment and enjoys creating fashion that resonates with those beliefs. Her many media include faux furs, tulle, plastic bags, electric cords, newspapers, VHS and cassette tapes, and remnants of anything and everything. She also takes ordinary clothing, ties, linens, and leftover fabric to create clothes for everyday and special occasions.
